International Field Service Engineer
Function
- Commissioning of test machines during the test phase in the workshop and on-site at the customer’s premises
- Installing and configuring PLC and computer hardware
- Testing, debugging and optimising associated programmes
- Carrying out incoming inspections and quality tests on machines
- Ensuring repeatability and compliance in accordance with the required checklists
- Preparation of reports and technical documentation for machine acceptance tests
- Analysing and synthesising technical problems in consultation with the client
- Providing feedback on findings and suggestions for improvement to Engineering and Project Management
- Contributing to changes and improvements to machinery
- Providing on-site training for operators and maintenance technicians
- Drawing up training documentation
- Providing first-line support and drawing up intervention reports
- Putting together intervention kits in collaboration with Customer Service
- Carrying out impartial and confidential measurements in the laboratory and at client sites, in accordance with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or equivalent through experience
- Recent bachelor’s graduates are also eligible for a junior role
- Knowledge of various automation and IT systems
- Experience in a customer-facing role is an advantage
- Strong mechanical understanding and broad technical knowledge
- You work independently and take responsibility
- You’re a real team player, sociable and a strong communicator
- A keen to learn, creative and practical approach
- Flexible and willing to travel both at home and abroad
- Proficiency in Dutch is desirable, but not an absolute requirement
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French or German is an advantage
