Industrial Electricity project manager

Function

As an Industrial Electrical Project Manager, you will be the pivotal figure in leading challenging, complex projects within industrial automation. You will be responsible for the engineering, installation and delivery of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will do this together with customers, engineers, suppliers and internal teams. Your role includes:

• Analysing customer needs and translating them into an efficient and economical solution.
• Establish and manage project schedules and budgets, from design to delivery.
• Ensuring smart integration of electrical systems with automation and IT.
• Coordinate internal and external teams and monitor quality and deadlines.
• Risk management and compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Actively pursue innovation and cost optimisation by implementing new technologies.

You will work from the Lokeren office and have regular client visits. In addition, there is the opportunity to play an important growth role within the organisation.

Profile

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following profile:

• A master's degree in a technical field such as Industrial Engineering (Electromechanics, Electronics-ICT, etc.).
• At least 8 years of hands-on technical experience with electrical installations in industrial environments.
• Experience as a project manager (at least 2 years).
• Thorough knowledge of low-voltage installations, industrial controls, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Excellent project management skills and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership qualities, communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Enthusiasm to continuously develop yourself.
• Very fluent knowledge of Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
• VCA-VOL is a nice to have.

Organisation

Our client has been the reference in customised industrial automation all over Flanders for more than 30 years.

They currently have around 80 employees. Specifically, you will join the business unit installations focused on industrial electrical installations in a team of around 25 colleagues. To strengthen this team, they are currently looking for a Project Leader.
