Solution Engineer

Function

As a Solution Engineer, you will be a field technical specialist with a wide range of responsibilities. Your duties include:

• Advising, guiding and supporting clients with specials and customised industrial engineering throughout Belgium.
• Frequent travel to clients while working from the Lokeren office.
• Play a key role in optimising production processes and strengthening the supply chain through collaborations with customers and colleagues from various departments, including purchasing and inside sales.
• Collaborate with head office to develop and rapidly implement innovative solutions.
• Give presentations to customers and act as a point of contact for technical issues.
• Contributing directly to the success and growth of the company.

Profile

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Minimum bachelor's degree in a technical field (electromechanics, mechanical engineering, mechanics,...).
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in production processes, DIN standards, standardised parts and special/customised. engineering.
• Strong communication skills, commercial acumen and a customer-oriented attitude.
• Technical expertise in 3D modelling programmes such as Inventor, Solidworks or similar.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French and German is a plus.
• Willingness to invest for the long term and contribute to a growing team.

They are a strategic industrial partner managing C-parts, supply chain and fasteners for large-scale production environments active in manufacturing and series production. In doing so, they combine product expertise combined with logistics, automation and digital procurement processes. To strengthen the 30-member team in Belgium, they are currently looking for a solution engineer who, as a technical expert, can create even more added value within this service-oriented organisation.
