Electrical & PLC Engineer

Function

Job description:

As an Electrical & Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical installations and boards as well as the associated PLC programming.

• You will work closely with salespeople and colleagues.
• Your role includes using E-Plan and AutoCAD to design electrical installations and creating automation software for entire systems.
• You will also be responsible for preparing P&ID and instrumentation lists.
• Maintaining customer contacts and placing orders is also part of your duties.
• Contact with suppliers.
• Provide support to sign building assembly.
• You will work closely with the sales team and mechanical team.

Profile

Job requirements:

• At least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electricity or electromechanics.
• Initial work experience is a plus, preferably in sign building and/or industrial electrical installations.
• Experience with AutoCAD, E-Plan, Codesys (PLC) and Microsoft Office package.
• Technical knowledge of electrical equipment and properties.
• Good knowledge of Dutch. Knowledge of French and English is a plus.
• Organisationally strong and stress-resistant.
• Cost-conscious and able to work independently.
