HVAC project leader
Function
In this role, you’ll be the key figure overseeing projects from start to finish. You’ll spend around 60% of your time at the office in Olen and 40% travelling to sites. Here’s a selection of your varied responsibilities:
- Project management: You will be responsible for the entire process of launching, monitoring and completing your projects.
- Planning & Coordination: You will be responsible for staff rota planning, giving daily briefings to the technicians and taking part in the weekly planning meeting with the managers.
- Technical Preparation: You will request technical data sheets and wiring diagrams, compile files for the draughtsman and manage orders for materials.
- On-site Management: You will chair kick-off and follow-up meetings on site with all parties involved.
- Administration: You will draw up progress reports and "as-built" files and ensure that the administrative procedures are completed correctly.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree (or have equivalent experience). Your drive and ability to learn are what matter most to us!
- You have a solid grounding in both electricity and HVAC.
- Experience in a similar position is a big plus.
- You have strong communication skills: diplomatic where possible, assertive where necessary.
- You are proficient in MS Office and have a flexible attitude.
- You enjoy working independently and take full ownership of your projects.
Organisation
A family-run business with around twenty employees, fifteen of whom are skilled tradespeople working on site every day.
They employ their own HVAC electricians, pipe fitters and HVAC technicians. These staff are managed and supported by project managers, a technical draughtsman and a quantity surveyor.
The company focuses exclusively on HVAC projects for public sector organisations, healthcare institutions, schools, industry and businesses.
