HVAC project leader

Function

As HVAC project leader at Lummen You will be responsible for the full coordination and supervision of HVAC projects from start to finish. You will monitor progress on site, manage technicians and subcontractors, and ensure that the schedule, budget and quality remain under control at all times. In this role, you’ll be the central point of contact for clients, suppliers and colleagues, and you’ll skilfully translate technical requirements into a feasible and efficient implementation.

Your duties will include:

• Managing projects from the preparation stage through to completion
• Managing and motivating technicians and subcontractors
• Monitoring the schedule, budget, safety and quality
• Consultation with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Providing support with cost estimates, procurement and technical documentation
• Drawing up and checking technical data sheets and bills of materials
• Identifying bottlenecks and actively contributing ideas for solutions

You will be working in a growing B2B environment where HVAC and plumbing are key, with challenging projects for reputable clients. You will be expected to work independently, maintain an overview in a dynamic environment, whilst remaining strong in communication and collaboration.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for an experienced and organised project manager with 3 to 5 years’ experience in HVAC, plumbing or a similar technical field. You combine technical knowledge with organisational skills and feel at ease in a role where you act as the point of contact for both internal and external parties.

Your profile:

• You have a degree in a technical subject, preferably in HVAC, electromechanics, construction or a similar field
• You have 3–5 years’ relevant experience in project monitoring or site coordination
• You have a good knowledge of HVAC systems and technical work planning
• You can make plans, set priorities and keep track of several projects at the same time
• You communicate fluently and professionally with customers, suppliers and colleagues
• You work meticulously and keep a close eye on the budget, deadlines and quality, with an eye for detail
• You have experience in overseeing cost estimates, procurement and technical documentation
• You think in a solution-oriented way and take responsibility throughout the entire project
• Knowledge of MS Office and technical software is an advantage
• You are willing to play an active part in Lummen and on the projects in the region
