Function
Collaborate, advise and make your mark?
- You will advise various local authorities in a wide range of spatial projects and environmental files, from permits to strategic policy plans.
- Analyses, assesses and supervises urban planning dossiers and offers substantiated advice tailored to each municipality.
- You will actively participate in the design and realisation of urban planning concepts and spaces-from public domains to residential projects and business parks.
- As a supervisor, you will watch over the correct application of urban planning regulations, focusing on both prevention and enforcement.
- You carry out site visits, investigate situations and initiate enforcement proceedings if necessary.
- You attend meetings with local councils, stakeholders and other partners to come up with supported solutions together.
- Working on location sounds like music to your ears: you work alternately in the office, at local administrations or from home-depending on the project.
- You will switch seamlessly between advising, coordinating and following up on various spatial issues within the region.
Profile
Are you analytical and committed?
- You have a higher degree (bachelor or master), preferably complemented by a specialisation in spatial planning, urban planning or relevant legal background.
- You have a strong affinity with laws and regulations on urban development and spatial planning, or you have already built up relevant experience in this.
- You communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, and smoothly act as a point of contact for colleagues and external partners.
- You work in a structured, precise and results-oriented way, but never lose sight of the overall picture.
- Dossiers you like to take hold of yourself while also rubbing shoulders with your team on projects.
- You are flexibly deployable in a variety of projects at different local authorities.
- You unerringly analyse situations and translate them into clear reports and actions.
- When all noses point in the same direction, you are responsible for this.
