Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who already has some experience in the insurance sector. Ideally, you will have worked for an insurance broker and be available to start immediately.

Besides, you recognise yourself in this:

  • You have a good understanding of life insurance and tax solutions.

  • You have strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • You communicate fluently and feel at ease during meetings with clients.
  • You have a business-minded approach, but you’re not keen on prospecting.
  • You’re not afraid to make decisions and don’t wait for someone else to make every decision for you.
  • You will work independently and take responsibility for your cases.
  • You’re down-to-earth and prefer a practical approach.
  • You speak and write Dutch fluently.
  • Experience with Brio would be an advantage. You know that every insurance company uses its own system and have no problem finding your way around them.

The clientele is often young, aged between 25 and 40, and includes a significant number of consultants and management companies.

The focus is on life insurance, taxation, wealth accumulation and salary optimisation. Traditional insurance activities are handled elsewhere within the group, allowing you to concentrate fully on your area of expertise.

You will be part of a team that currently comprises a number of commercial staff and back-office colleagues. The organisation is also part of a much larger group with around 160 employees in Belgium. This not only offers stability, but also opportunities for further growth in the long term.

Offer

You’ll have a great deal of freedom in how you organise your work:

  • A full-time position, but 4/5ths is certainly negotiable.
  • A 39.5-hour working week.
  • Working hours which are generally between 9.00 am and 12.00 pm and 1.00 pm and 5.30 pm.
  • The option to work from home, depending on accessibility for customers.
  • You will be based in Kortrijk, but a candidate based in Ghent is also an option.
  • 30 days’ leave and no collective closure.
  • An attractive salary, commensurate with your experience.
  • €10 meal vouchers.
  • Group insurance.
  • Hospitalisation insurance covering outpatient and dental care.
  • Net expense allowance.
  • Company car.
  • Eco-vouchers.
  • Annual CAO 90 bonus of up to approximately €4,000.
  • Extensive in-house training opportunities through the group.
  • An annual multi-day trip with the team.

You’ll also be joining a large organisation with a comprehensive in-house training programme and a range of career progression opportunities. At the same time, the team operates in a personal and practical way: no endless hierarchy or micromanagement, but trust and responsibility.
