Corporate Account Manager

Function

As a Key Account Manager for Corporate Clients, you will be responsible for a portfolio of business clients. You will further develop existing relationships whilst seeking out new opportunities.

Your duties will include:

• Managing and further expanding an existing portfolio of companies.
• To act as a trusted adviser to business owners and decision-makers.
• To thoroughly assess customers’ risks and insurance needs.
• Developing bespoke insurance solutions in collaboration with in-house experts and insurers.
• Actively identifying cross-selling and deep-selling opportunities.
• Identify new business opportunities and further expand your network.
• Following up on leads and visiting clients.
• Contributing ideas on the further growth of existing clients, for example in relation to new activities, entities or expansions.
• Ensure that your files are properly tracked administratively.
• Work closely with Client Advisors and other in-house specialists.

You’ll take on a commercial role with a degree of responsibility, but you won’t be on your own. You’ll combine your own client contact with the expertise of colleagues who are responsible for operational follow-up.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for an experienced insurance professional who combines a commercial acumen with in-depth knowledge of the subject matter.

• You have experience in a commercial insurance role.
• You hold a PCP certificate.
• Experience with BOAR insurance policies within companies is a major asset. Examples include liability, property, business interruption and machinery breakdown.
• You build trust easily with business owners and other decision-makers.
• You have a commercial mindset, but always put the customer’s needs first.
• You combine a strategic outlook with a results-oriented approach.
• You will work independently and take responsibility for your client portfolio.
• At the same time, you enjoy working alongside in-house experts and colleagues.
• You speak fluent Dutch and French.
• You get a real buzz from giving advice, building relationships and supporting clients over the long term.

Organisation

You will be joining a growing insurance organisation with a strong focus on businesses. The organisation combines a personalised approach to customers with extensive expertise in the insurance sector.

In this role, the focus is on businesses in East and West Flanders. You will be given the opportunity to build long-term client relationships and contribute to the further commercial growth of the portfolio.

You will work alongside specialist colleagues who will support you in the substantive and operational processing of insurance files. This will provide you with an excellent balance of autonomy, commercial responsibility and professional support.
