Design & Build Manager

Function

As Design & Build Manager, you are the driving force behind the entire preliminary phase of the client’s construction projects, from concept to construction documentation. Based at the office in Lummen, you work with a keen eye for quality, efficiency and profitability. You act as the central link between the client, the design team, subcontractors and internal departments. In your role, you lead the process from idea to completion, prioritising innovation and sustainability. Stakeholder management and monitoring deadlines are crucial in this role to ensure construction projects are steered towards a successful outcome.

Profile

Our client is looking for a motivated professional with:

• A master’s degree in construction, architecture or industrial/civil engineering.
• Experience in the construction sector, preferably in a similar role.
• A keen understanding of construction costs, techniques and sustainability issues.
• Excellent analytical skills, strong communication skills and a results-oriented approach.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a strict adherence to deadlines.
• Experience with Revit or Design & Build projects would be an advantage.
• A basic knowledge of French is an asset.
• Independence, flexibility and comfort whilst working in a dynamic environment.
