Job description:

As a site manager, you are the driving force behind the day-to-day coordination and execution of work at the site in Lummen. With your keen organisational skills, you ensure that construction projects run smoothly within the set deadlines and budgets. You are responsible for:

• Site management, day-to-day planning, organisation and administration.
• Work carried out in accordance with plans and specifications, with meticulous monitoring of the budget and schedule.
• Ensuring that safety procedures and quality standards are upheld, both by our own staff and by subcontractors.
• Organising toolbox meetings and site inspections.
• Reporting to the project manager.

Profile

Our client is looking for a proactive site manager with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of practical and technical matters. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent through experience).
• Experience as a site manager.
• A good knowledge of standard working methods, materials and applicable safety requirements.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch; knowledge of English and French is an advantage.
