Site Manager

Function

As site manager at Hasselt You will take charge of day-to-day management on site and ensure that the work proceeds smoothly, safely and according to schedule. You will act as the link between the various parties involved on site and monitor quality, timing and execution with a keen eye for detail.

In this role, you will combine organisational skills with technical expertise and be responsible for a wide range of tasks:

• You will coordinate day-to-day activities on site and manage workers, subcontractors and partners.
• You monitor the progress of the works, identify any issues in good time and take solution-oriented action.
• You will closely monitor planning, quality, safety and efficiency.
• You maintain smooth communication with internal colleagues, construction partners and clients.
• You will ensure that site reports, orders, deliveries and practical arrangements are properly processed administratively.
• You actively contribute ideas for improvements and help to ensure the site is run efficiently.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a site manager who can work independently, but who is also strong at consultation and collaboration. You have a practical mindset, communicate clearly and maintain an overview, even when several matters need to be dealt with simultaneously.

What we expect from you:

• You have relevant experience as a site manager, project manager, foreman or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• You have a strong technical background and understand how a construction site operates from start to finish.
• You have strong organisational skills and can set priorities under time pressure.
• You have a proactive attitude and take responsibility.
• You communicate fluently and professionally with various parties.
• You have an eye for quality, safety and meticulous follow-up.
• You are flexible and adopt a solution-oriented approach when faced with unexpected situations.
• You are familiar with administrative site monitoring and basic reporting.

A degree in construction or equivalent experience is an advantage, but it is your motivation, maturity and practical approach that really make the difference.

Offer

You can expect an attractive salary package in line with market rates, tailored to your experience and expertise. For this role, a gross monthly salary of between €4,000 and €6,000, complemented by additional benefits that make the overall package particularly attractive.
