Customer Service Employee

Function

• You will manage your own client portfolio and build long-term client relationships.
• You will be the first point of contact for customers via phone and e-mail.
• You process orders and monitor cases closely from enquiry to delivery.
• You act as the link between customers, logistics and internal departments, ensuring a smooth flow of information.
• You proactively monitor deliveries, discrepancies and shortages, and communicate clearly with customers about these matters.
• You adopt a solution-oriented approach and ensure that administrative follow-up is carried out correctly.
• You process customer data carefully in the internal systems.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a customer-focused and meticulous professional with some initial experience in customer service, administration or customer management. You enjoy keeping track of things, adapting quickly and assisting customers in a professional manner. Experience in, or an interest in, the food sector would be a real plus.

• Ideally, you will have several years’ experience in customer service, administration or customer management.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and have a good knowledge of French.
• You are customer-focused, have strong communication skills and work with attention to detail.
• You keep a clear overview, set priorities with ease and think in terms of solutions.
• You have a good knowledge of common digital applications. Experience with SAP or another ERP system would be an advantage.
• You enjoy working with various internal departments.

Our client operates in the food distribution sector and supplies high-quality food and non-food products to business customers on a daily basis. Quality, reliability and excellent service are at the heart of what they do.

Offer

You will be taking up a full-time role as 39 hours per week within a stable and growing organisation. You will work according to a fixed timetable of 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, which brings structure and clarity to your working week.

• An attractive gross salary of between €2,700 and €3,500, depending on your experience.
