Function

• You will analyse tender documents, technical plans and project proposals.
• You assess the risks and complexity of projects and use this to determine the correct pricing.
• You’ll contribute your technical expertise during the design phase to ensure manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
• You monitor the profitability of projects during the preliminary costing stage.
• You review quotations once projects have been completed in order to improve future cost estimates.
• You will manage target prices and help build an efficient database for future quotations.
• You will optimise spreadsheets and continue to work on quote automation within Odoo.
• You request quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and compare them carefully.
• You determine the materials required, working hours, production methods and installation/assembly procedures.
• You will draw up detailed cost calculations and technical quotations.
• You will work closely with sales staff, project managers and the workshop to ensure that quotations are technically and commercially sound.

Profile

• You hold a master’s degree in civil engineering or electromechanics, or have relevant experience in a similar role.
• You have strong technical insight and an analytical mindset.
• You work fluently with MS Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor is an advantage.
• You are meticulous, organised and enjoy contributing ideas on improvements and optimisations.
