Do you like variety and enjoy turning technical challenges into concrete figures?

• You prepare quotations based on plans, sketches and specifications and translate these into clear price calculations.
• With your technical insight, you accurately determine the cost price of materials, working hours, operations and subcontracting.
• In consultation with management, you set the sales prices and make sure everything is right down to the euro.
• You have direct contact with customers to discuss their requirements, moreover, you like to think actively about technical solutions and feasibility.
• You perform post-calculations after the completion of projects and are responsible for correct invoicing for directional work.
• You will work closely with colleagues from the workshop, administration and technical draftsmen.
• You regularly adjust customer expectations by thinking along towards better and realistic results.

Profile

Are you wondering if this position suits you?

• You have a solid foundation in technical understanding (experience in metalworking or construction is a big plus).
• Previous experience in estimation and/or costing is a strong asset.
• Reading, understanding and critically interpreting technical plans comes naturally to you.
• Your numerical talent and accuracy ensure reliable calculations.
• As a calculator, you switch smoothly between different tasks and keep an overview of various projects.
• You are communicative, customer-oriented and easily connect with colleagues and customers.
• You are comfortable with Excel. Interest or experience with ERP systems or drawing programmes such as Solidworks and Bricscad is a plus.
• Speaking Dutch and French is a must, given the wide customer base.
