Automation Engineer
Function
Are you ready to tackle innovative and challenging projects and do you have a passion for automation? As an Automation Engineer, you will join a dynamic and growing technical environment where you will play a key role in developing and implementing automation solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- Programming Schneider PLCs for advanced spray booths installed at leading industrial customers in Belgium, France and the Netherlands.
- Design and development of PLC controls for each project, fully tailored to technical requirements and customer needs.
- Working closely with the Project Engineer to adjust installations, make optimisations and set up full testing procedures.
- Carrying out on-site testing and commissioning at customer sites.
- You are willing to spend about 40% of your time working on location in Belgium, France and the Netherlands.
Profile
Are you the right candidate for this position? We have a number of expectations of our future Automation Engineer:
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics or Automation.
- Preferably, you have several years of experience in PLC programming.
- Foreign projects don't scare you away.
- Testing and commissioning PLCs on site are no problem for you.
- You enjoy working on challenging and unique projects.
- 40% of your time you will work on location in Belgium, France and the Netherlands.
Organisation
Our client is an electrical engineering company belonging to a larger group. In the Wetteren branch, they are active within electrotechnical installations mainly for industrial applications. They offer customised solutions and focus largely on panel building. There are currently around 15 employees. To expand the team, they are currently looking for an automation engineer to complete projects in the field of automation and PLC controls.
