Project Engineer Automation

Function

As a Project Engineer Automation, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimising automation solutions within industrial environments.

Below is a sample of your duties:

• Programming and configuring PLC, SCADA and DCS systems.
• Working closely with other technicians, such as electrical installation and IT colleagues.
• Analysing and translating automation needs into technical solutions.
• Search for economically viable solutions that add value for the customer.
• Deliver logical, simple, efficient and working (concept) solutions and related documentation.
• Thorough testing of automation solutions, both on our site and at the customer's premises.
• Validate and optimise automation systems to maximise efficiency.
• Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure integrations run smoothly

Profile

As a Project Engineer Automation, you will largely meet the following requirements:

• A master's degree in a technical field (e.g. electromechanics, automation,...).
• A strong technical drive and passion for automation solutions.
• Knowledge of logic controller (PLC) programming and affinity with industrial automation systems.
• Problem-solving thinking: you see challenges as opportunities to come up with technical solutions.
• Hands-on mentality and sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to keep learning about new technologies to provide contemporary solutions.
• Ideally already 3-5 years' experience in industrial automation projects.
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages for automation applications is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and English.
