Investment and insurance adviser

Function

As an investment and insurance adviser, your primary focus is on guiding clients in their investment choices and further developing their portfolio. In addition, you support clients with insurance queries and other financial needs.

Your duties will include:

• You advise clients on investments and help them find solutions that align with their financial situation and objectives.
• You monitor existing investment portfolios and identify opportunities to further develop or optimise them.
• You proactively contact clients to discuss their financial needs and identify potential opportunities.
• You actively seek out commercial opportunities within the existing client portfolio.
• You also advise clients on insurance solutions and are open to different propositions within the office.
• Where necessary, you provide support with credit files and other financial queries, with the initial emphasis on investments and insurance.
• You work closely with your colleagues to provide clients with the most comprehensive service possible.
• You contribute to the commercial objectives of the office and think along about the further growth of the client portfolio.

Profile

For this role, we are primarily looking for someone with the right commercial mindset, maturity and motivation. You do not necessarily need to have experience within a bank office, but relevant prior work experience is a plus.

• You hold a relevant financial qualification or have an equivalent background through experience.
• You preferably already have some initial professional experience, for example within the banking sector, insurance or another client-facing financial role.
• You have a strong interest in investments and are willing to further expand your knowledge.
• You are commercially minded and take the initiative to contact clients yourself and discuss opportunities.
• You are open to different financial products and think along about solutions that match the needs of the client.
• You are sufficiently mature to take on responsibility and work independently.
• You are motivated, eager to learn and have the drive to further develop yourself and the office.
• You enjoy working with colleagues and understand that commercial results are the outcome of a joint effort.
• You communicate fluently and in a client-focused manner and enjoy building lasting client relationships.
• You work accurately and follow up on agreed appointments and files correctly.

Organisation

You will join an independent bank office with strong local roots and a personal approach. The office guides clients through various financial matters, including investments, credits and insurance. Long-term client relationships and tailored advice are central to this.

Within the small team, communication lines are short and collaboration is important. Colleagues consult regularly, share knowledge and support one another where needed.
