Investment advisor

Function

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop step by step within investment advice and wealth management. You will start with a thorough training programme and gradually learn how to guide high-net-worth private clients in their financial choices.

Your duties will include:

• You will gradually build up knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and wealth advice.
• You will learn to map out the financial situation and investment needs of clients.
• You will assist in developing and managing a client portfolio.
• You will learn to guide high-net-worth private clients in their financial choices.
• You will identify commercial opportunities and actively seek out additional needs.
• You will schedule high-quality client appointments and prepare these thoroughly.
• You will build lasting client relationships and learn how to follow up with clients proactively.
• You will take part in an extensive training programme, including training courses from head office in Brussels.

As your knowledge and experience grow, you will take on increasing responsibility within your own client portfolio. In this way, you will continue to build your career and, in time, grow into an independent advisory role as a Personal Banker.

Profile

For this role, we are primarily looking for someone with the right mindset and ambition. You do not yet need to have extensive experience in wealth advice, as long as your interest and motivation are clearly present.

• You hold a bachelor's degree in a financial, economic, or related field.
• You have a strong interest in investments, financial markets, and wealth building.
• You preferably already have some initial experience within the banking sector, for example in retail banking.
• You are commercially minded and get energy from client contact.
• You communicate fluently and are able to explain complex financial matters in an accessible way.
• You work in a structured manner, take initiative, and handle your commitments responsibly.
• You are eager to learn and open to an extensive training programme.
• You are ambitious and aspire to grow, in time, into an independent advisory role within Personal Banking.

Recent graduates with a bachelor's degree and a strong interest in investments are certainly also welcome. Your motivation and growth potential are at least as important as any experience you have already gained.

Organisation

You will join an independent bank branch with a strong reputation and ambitious growth plans in the Bruges region. The team consists of around 12 employees, spread across various specialisations. Within the branch, there is a strong focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the further development of employees.

Training and growth opportunities receive particular attention. Thanks to support from head office, you will have access to the necessary tools, training courses, and guidance to further develop your knowledge.

The working environment combines a commercial mindset with a collegial team culture. Individual performance and results are important, but the collective growth of the branch is equally central.
