Administrative Transport Clerk
Function
As Administrative Transport Clerk you will play a crucial role at our client, specialising in temperature-controlled logistics and transport. From their premises in Lummen, you are responsible for the accurate follow-up of transport-related administration and legal compliance. You support the Transport Manager and ensure correct and efficient implementation of administrative processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Follow-up on violations and legal compliance regarding driving and rest periods;
- Checking, scanning and archiving drivers' documents;
- Trip processing, including control and adjustment of start and end times, as well as allocation of night allowances;
- Monitor working hours and correct deviations;
- Communication with drivers on identified irregularities and violations.
Profile
To be successful in this role, you will bring a combination of skills, experience and a positive attitude:
- You have 0-3 years' experience, preferably in a logistics or transport-related position;
- You have a basic knowledge of social legislation and are willing to delve further into driving and rest periods;
- Accuracy is your middle name; you work in a structured way with an eye for detail and love an organised working environment;
- You have an analytical mindset and are familiar with digital systems such as Trimble, TMS, FleetXPS, or similar tools;
- You are proactive and like to take initiative to make improvements;
- Good command of Dutch is essential; knowledge of French is a plus.
