Transport planner Night

Function

For our client in Lummen, we are looking for a Transport planner for the night shift. As Transport Planner Night you will work from 22:00 to 06:00 and play a crucial role in managing and optimising the transport of fresh and frozen products. You will work closely with other planners within a dynamic working environment. Your tasks include:

• Organising daily distribution and collection of agri-food products from customers;
• Optimising goods flows with a focus on quality, timing, cost, service, safety and regulations;
• Efficient planning and distribution of drivers and vehicles;
• Maintain daily contact with drivers, temporary workers and subcontractors;
• Communication and collaboration with various departments at the site.

Profile

For the position of Transport planner (night) At our client in Lummen, we are looking for the following candidate:

• You are willing to work nights (10pm-6am)
• You have initial experience in the transport sector, preferably in the operations department of a freight transport company (groupage);
• Good command of Dutch, knowledge of French is a plus;
• Skill in using computer tools and strong geographical knowledge of Belgium;
• Flexibility and ability to multitask;
• A dynamic, proactive attitude combined with a customer-oriented attitude;
• Organisational talent and accuracy are key.
