As Financial Controller for this organisation in Antwerp, your duties will include the following:

• You will be responsible for preparing weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual reports.
• You will analyse sales figures and monthly results.
• You draw up comparison analyses against the previous period and the predetermined budget.
• You will be responsible for preparing budgets and monitoring them.
• You will participate in the preparation of the consolidation report for Benelux.
• You will work closely with the Finance Director on all kinds of projects.

We are currently looking for a Financial Controller for our client in the Antwerp region to join the team. You will join an organisation with French roots that operates within the DIY sector. You will work in a finance department of 10 to 12 people.

To fill this vacancy of Financial Controller in Antwerp, we are looking for the person who recognises themselves in the following:

• You have obtained a master's degree in an economic field. Think of a Master's in Economic Sciences, a Master's in Commercial Engineering or Commercial Science.
• You have complemented this education with at least 5 years of relevant work experience within audit, controlling and/or analysis.
• You are very fluent in Excel, knowledge of macros is a plus.
• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch and French. This both orally and in writing as reporting to head office is in French. Knowledge of English is a plus.
• You possess a thorough basic knowledge around accounting.
• You work with accuracy and integrity.
• Experience within an international context or in a similar sector is a plus.
