Sales Manager (Technical)

What are your responsibilities in this role?

• With a backpack in technical sales, you know how to manage, guide and motivate team of about 7 sales engineers
• You keep a helicopter view of the price requests of our customers and decides which ones will be distributed to the sales engineers so that they are converted into detailed tenders
• You will liaise closely with customers, suppliers, procurement colleagues, field sales agents, engineering, logistics, ...
• On completion of an offer you support the sales engineer on-site at the customer's premises during commercial negotiations
• You work actively contribute to the growth of the company by building long-term relationships with existing and new customers
• You will report directly to the General Manager.

Who are you?

• You hold a Master's degree in a technical field with at least initial experience in managing a sales team;
• You are driven, work proactively and know how to develop Ellimetal's sales strategy through targeted actions;
• You have excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• You are flexible and willing to make short (domestic and international) trips;
• Other capabilities: result-oriented, accurate, eager to learn, go-getter;
• You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
