Internal Sales Engineer

• You are responsible for carrying out technical and cost price calculations 
• You effortlessly prepare and send quotes to customers. You then follow them up, oranising digital meetings and/or site visits
• Thanks to your basic knowledge of mainly steel construction and industrial construction with an additional knowledge of concrete construction, foundation technology and wall and roof sealing works, you make the most correct estimate possible of the manpower required (drawing work, production, assembly, cladding, painting) and the material to be used
• You have a good technical knowledge of the structures to be used (metal, wood, concrete,...)
• You will request quotations, negotiate prices and maintain good relations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• You compare quotes to get a clear view of the technical execution and prices associated with their offers.
• You dissect the specifications and work closely with the architect, the design office and the project manager. If necessary, you may propose and discuss alternatives.
• You take care of the post-calculation in order to make a comparison between the pre-calculation and the materials, manpower, etc. actually used, in consultation with the project manager, the salesperson and the subcontractor. You regard this as a learning experience.

• Bachelor/Master in Construction/Electromechanics with 3 years of practical experience in costing.
• Preferably multilingual Dutch and English or German or French
• Knowledge of construction, erection, steel building, raw materials.
• Good spatial understanding.
• Immediately employable and able to work independently.
• You can work well internally and have critical discussions with the project leader.
• Good knowledge of Office package such as Excel, Word, ...
• Knowledge of drawing software
