Process engineer

As a process engineer, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You will collaborate on the engineering of chemical processes and industrial sites.
• You will analyse chemical processes and advise on how to make them safer and better.
• You think along problem-solving lines and can perform calculations concerning process controls, reactors, pumps, energy and mass balances,...
• You peruse and create PFDs, and P&IDs.
• You will work with specialised software for HAZOP/LOPA, ATEX, dynamic fluid modelling, safety valve calculations, SIF verification,...
• You will work closely with fellow experts from different disciplines.

As a process engineer, you will largely meet the following requirements:

• You have a master's degree in industrial or civil engineering within chemical/process engineering.
• You are eager to learn, analytical, structured and accurate in your work.
• You are a fluent communicator capable of coordinating projects.
• You enjoy the challenge of (re)engineering complex and high-risk processes in an inherently safe way.
• You can prepare documents in a precise and structured manner: reports, risk analyses, opinions.
• Both junior and medior profiles are eligible.

Our client is a service provider in the industrial world that provides support in the realisation and exploitation of investment projects. They carry out analyses, basic engineering, detailed engineering and realisations in very diverse sectors (food, pharma, energy, manufacturing, etc.).
As an independent specialist, they offer pragmatic and quality engineering solutions for industrial processes, utilities, energy and logistics. They specialise in chemical process technology and process safety, electromechanical production lines and machine compliance as well as within utilities and electrification.
They are a smaller SME with a strong team and a fun working atmosphere. There is often teamwork where everyone complements each other well. They put very strong emphasis on coaching, mentoring and training (internal and external). To expand their team, they are currently looking for a chemical process engineer.

As a process engineer, you have the freedom to do your job independently. For this, you will receive all the tools you need and a correct remuneration that evolves according to your knowledge and skills. Your gross salary is always supplemented with a car, net expenses, hospitalisation insurance, etc. The job is very varied: changing clients and projects in different areas.
Much attention is paid to knowledge and skills so you can count on specific training and personal coaching.

You will work a 40-hour week which means you will have 12 ADV days. Sliding hours and teleworking are also used.
