Energy market Engineer

As an Energy Market Engineer, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You will holistically combine your technical knowledge with economic knowledge and policy.
• You will get to grips with balancing markets and grid support services.
• You will delve into new technologies such as batteries, H2, vehicle2gtid,... and learn about and quantify them.
• You will learn how energy markets work and help prepare the high-voltage grid for the energy transition.
• You also apply your acquired knowledge to industrial customers and 'early adapters' by showing them the way in a practical pragmatic way.
• You will work closely with experts from the same as well as other disciplines.
• You will help industrial clients with the electrification of their site.
• You will deliver quality work thanks to the support of your colleagues's and the internal structured approach.

As an Energy Engineer, you can largely tick off the items below:

• You are a master in Engineering (bioengineer, civil engineer or hands-on engineer).
• You are eager to learn, analytical, structured and accurate in your work.
• You are a recent graduate or already have your first (few) work experiences.
• You are a fluent communicator and can present difficult issues clearly.

Our client is a service provider in the industrial world that provides support in the realisation and exploitation of investment projects. They carry out analyses, basic engineering, detailed engineering and realisations in very diverse sectors (food, pharma, energy, manufacturing, etc.).
As an independent specialist, they offer pragmatic and quality engineering solutions for industrial processes, utilities, energy and logistics. They specialise in chemical process technology and process safety, electromechanical production lines and machine compliance as well as within utilities and electrification.
They are a smaller SME with a strong team and a fun working atmosphere. There is often teamwork where everyone complements each other well. They put very strong emphasis on mentoring, coaching and training (internal and external). To expand their team, they are currently looking for an Energy Market Engineer.
