Are you a technically gifted individual with a passion for mechanical maintenance and problem-solving? Are you looking for a hands-on role in a modern workshop, where you’ll be working on complex industrial drive systems alongside a passionate service team? We are looking for a Workshop Engineer for a leading international company who wants to excel in mechanical maintenance and repairs.
As a Workshop Engineer, you are an indispensable member of the maintenance team. You will have a varied range of duties, carrying out mechanical repairs, overhauls and optimisations on drive systems and gearboxes for advanced industrial installations for a wide range of customers.
What will you do?
- Carrying out repairs and overhauls: You will be responsible for dismantling, reassembling, inspecting and repairing drive components, including decanter tanks and centrifuges.
- Problem analysis: You carry out a thorough investigation into faults and wear and tear. You address malfunctions and propose appropriate solutions.
- Assembly & adjustment: You will assemble drive systems correctly in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Workflow optimisation: You will help to develop ideas for improving working methods and contribute to the efficient running of the workshop.
- Studio management & organisation: You maintain a tidy, well-organised working environment and ensure accurate record-keeping in the CRM system.
- Reporting: Everything is properly documented and reported to the relevant colleagues and managers.
- Collaboration: Smooth coordination with your team and other internal contacts.
Profile
- You hold an associate degree or bachelor’s degree in Maintenance Technology, Electromechanics, Mechanics or a similar technical discipline.
- You combine technical insight with practical experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Being able to react quickly to faults and working in a structured manner come naturally to you.
- You work with precision, have an eye for detail and strive for excellence.
- You work well independently, but also enjoy being part of a team.
- You speak Dutch fluently and have a good knowledge of English and French. German would be a bonus!
- You’re proficient in MS Office and can quickly get to grips with digital systems such as CRM packages.
- You enjoy working in a high-tech environment and are keen to learn.
