Work Planner
Function
As a work planner, you will be responsible for the preparation and follow-up of various projects within a framework contract with a network manager. You ensure that each file is prepared technically correctly and organisationally efficiently, so that the implementing teams can get to work without obstacles.
Your tasks:
- Analysing requests and checking technical specifications, plans and drawings.
- Consult with the network manager to obtain additional information or update files.
- Mapping the context: site accessibility, permits, signage and phasing of works.
- Elaborate bills of materials and place timely orders.
- Drafting clear work instructions and consulting with site management.
- Prepare calculations and discuss deviations from the contract with the client.
- Manage all project files in the ERP system and ensure up-to-date information for execution.
- Communicate and coordinate with all stakeholders: client, planning department, contractors and subcontractors.
- Thinking along on improvements and optimisations in systems and processes.
Profile
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
- Experience in work preparation, planning or project management within electrical engineering is a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge, accurate and analytical.
- Hands-on and solution-oriented, paying attention to the reality on site.
- Fluent and motivational communicator, both internally and externally.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and ERP packages; knowledge of Navision/Visual Planning is an asset.
