Infrastructure planner
Function
How do you make a complex infrastructure dossier executable?
- As an Infrastructure Works Preparer, you translate design and contract information into a practical and complete execution dossier for a large-scale infrastructure project in Zaventem.
- You collect, check and manage plans, detail drawings, technical data sheets and other documents, ensuring that the execution team has access to accurate information at the right time.
- By thoroughly analysing technical dossiers, you detect risks, missing data and possible improvements to the execution method in a timely manner.
- Aligning with the site planning forms an important part of your work: changes are monitored and translated into clear, workable solutions.
- In consultation with site managers, project managers, designers, BIM specialists and procurement, you connect design and execution and ensure a smooth flow of information.
- Contacts with design offices, subcontractors, suppliers and other external partners help you to resolve technical bottlenecks quickly and keep the preparation moving forward.
- You report to the project management and are given the space to gradually take on more responsibility as a technical preparer within a complex project environment.
Profile
Are you able to align different parties and do you stay sharp when a project becomes increasingly complex?
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, or have equivalent experience.
- You have up to three years of experience as a works preparer, project engineer, technical preparer or in a similar role within construction, infrastructure or civil engineering.
- Analysing technical dossiers, structuring plans and accurately monitoring information are among your strengths. Experience with large infrastructure projects, road construction or BIM is an advantage.
- You work in an organised manner and maintain overview when multiple disciplines, documents and deadlines converge. That precision helps to intercept errors before execution.
- You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical counterparts and enjoy collaborating, because reliable preparation depends on good alignment between all parties involved.
