Site Manager Industrial Electricity

Function

As a site manager industrial electricity, you coordinate the daily activities on industrial sites. You act as the link between the technicians, subcontractors, project management and other parties involved.

You monitor the progress, quality and safety of the works and ensure that materials, people and resources are available on time. Thanks to your hands-on approach and technical insight, you quickly identify bottlenecks and help find targeted solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and following up on the daily activities on site;
• Managing, guiding and motivating technicians and subcontractors;
• Following up on the planning, progress and quality of the electrotechnical works;
• Checking that materials, tools and technical resources are available on time;
• Monitoring safety regulations and VCA guidelines;
• Attending site meetings and aligning with all parties involved;
• Flagging technical or organisational bottlenecks to the project manager;
• Contributing to the handover and further follow-up of the projects.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a site manager electrotechnology with a sense of responsibility, technical insight and strong organisational skills.

You possess:

• A technical qualification in electrotechnology, electrical engineering or equivalent experience;
• Relevant work experience in industrial electricity, electrotechnology or industrial installation works;
• Insight into site planning, technical materials, and safety regulations;
• The necessary leadership skills to manage technicians and subcontractors;
• An independent and hands-on working style;
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude;
• A good knowledge of Dutch and a basic knowledge of English;
• Preferably a VCA VOL certificate and willingness to travel to various construction sites.
