Site Manager

Location: Brussels, Brussels, Belgium Specialisation: Construct Engineering Salary: € 3.500 - € 5.500 gross / month Contracttype: Indefinite time Hours: 40 hrs/week Work ritme: Day

Function

How do you keep all parties on track and how do you ensure that every working day runs safely and efficiently?

  • As Site Manager, you take on the day-to-day organisation of an industrial construction project in Brussels, with a strong focus on structural and concrete works.
  • You translate the site planning into a clear approach: you monitor progress, align activities with one another, and intervene promptly when priorities change.
  • Under your leadership, workers and subcontractors collaborate efficiently. You ensure that everyone knows what needs to be done, when, and in accordance with which quality and safety agreements.
  • You closely monitor the execution of the concrete and structural works, ensuring that technical agreements, planning, and execution quality remain in balance.
  • As the primary point of contact on the site, you keep communication lines short with subcontractors, suppliers, and other parties involved.
  • Safety has a concrete place in your approach every day: you identify risks, address people directly, and encourage safe working practices on site.
  • You manage the available people, materials, and resources with attention to a smooth progress of the works and careful use of resources.
  • With your management style, you bring structure and collaboration to the site. As a site coordinator, you make a visible difference to the outcome of the project.

Profile

Do you have an affinity with concrete and structural work, and do you stay focused whatever the weather?

  • You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or construction.
  • You bring 3 to 5 years of experience as a Site Manager, site coordinator, or in a comparable role, preferably with structural work, concrete, or larger construction projects.
  • Planning, organising, and setting priorities come naturally to you, even when multiple parties and activities require follow-up simultaneously.
  • Clear communication is important: you convey instructions clearly, listen to signals on the site, and build collaboration in a respectful way.
  • You take responsibility, address issues in a timely manner, and maintain your focus on safety, quality, and progress without losing sight of the human aspect.
