Water Process Engineer
Function
As a Water Process Engineer, you will be responsible for optimising water processes and developing sustainable solutions at various sites.
Your responsibilities:
- Monitoring, analysing and optimising water treatment plants.
- Act as an in-house expert on issues relating to water quality, discharge standards and environmental legislation.
- Managing and optimising various water flows, including surface water, groundwater and process water.
- Analysing process data and translating insights into concrete improvement actions.
- To play an active role in innovative projects relating to water treatment and new environmental technologies.
- Coordinating water-related projects from concept to implementation in collaboration with various internal departments.
- Ensuring the quality, sustainability and cost-effectiveness of the installations.
- Keep up to date with new legislation, innovations and technological developments within the sector.
Profile
- A Master’s degree or engineering degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a similar technical discipline.
- At least five years’ relevant experience in water treatment, process engineering or water management.
- In-depth knowledge of water treatment techniques and the relevant environmental legislation.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in interpreting process data.
- You work in a structured and independent manner and adopt a solution-oriented approach.
- You communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
- You are willing to visit various sites.
- You speak fluent Dutch and French.
- You actively keep up to date with new developments in your field and continue to develop your skills.
