Infrastructure Project Engineer

Function

• Analysing project proposals and drawing up an action plan and budget.
• Drawing up technical specifications following approval of the project.
• Request, compare and select quotes from contractors.
• Administrative follow-up of contracts and project documentation.
• Independently coordinating and monitoring construction, extension and renovation projects.
• Carry out regular site visits to monitor quality, safety and scheduling.
• Consult with site managers and operational managers.
• Ensuring correct handover, administrative closure, as-built documentation and approval of invoices.
• Report to the person responsible for the infrastructure.

Projects are very varied and may include, amongst other things:

• Construction of new warehouses.
• Extension of office and commercial buildings.
• Construction of car parks and green spaces.
• Refurbishment of HVAC systems, lighting, painting, glazing and other technical infrastructure.

Profile

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or another technical discipline.
• At least some initial relevant experience as a project manager or civil engineer.
• You take responsibility and have the maturity to manage projects independently.
• You communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A good knowledge of Dutch and French.
• You work in a structured, meticulous and independent manner.
• You are flexible and willing to travel between different branches.
• Experience with AutoCAD or other drawing programmes is a significant asset.
