Infrastructure Project Engineer
Function
- Analysing project proposals and drawing up an action plan and budget.
- Drawing up technical specifications following approval of the project.
- Request, compare and select quotes from contractors.
- Administrative follow-up of contracts and project documentation.
- Independently coordinating and monitoring construction, extension and renovation projects.
- Carry out regular site visits to monitor quality, safety and scheduling.
- Consult with site managers and operational managers.
- Ensuring correct handover, administrative closure, as-built documentation and approval of invoices.
- Report to the person responsible for the infrastructure.
Projects are very varied and may include, amongst other things:
- Construction of new warehouses.
- Extension of office and commercial buildings.
- Construction of car parks and green spaces.
- Refurbishment of HVAC systems, lighting, painting, glazing and other technical infrastructure.
Profile
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or another technical discipline.
- At least some initial relevant experience as a project manager or civil engineer.
- You take responsibility and have the maturity to manage projects independently.
- You communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A good knowledge of Dutch and French.
- You work in a structured, meticulous and independent manner.
- You are flexible and willing to travel between different branches.
- Experience with AutoCAD or other drawing programmes is a significant asset.
