Function

What is a typical day like for you as an empty container transport planner in the Roeselare region?

• Drawing up and monitoring the daily transport schedule for empty containers
• Accurate processing of transport records, purchase orders and invoicing
• Monitoring outstanding empties balances with customers
• Monitoring journeys via track & trace and making timely adjustments where necessary
• Continuously optimising planning, with a focus on efficiency, cost and customer satisfaction
• Maintaining smooth communication with drivers, customers, colleagues and external partners

Profile

You have strong administrative skills, work in a structured manner and always keep a clear overview, even when the pressure mounts.

In addition, as a transport planner, you will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in logistics or administration, or equivalent experience
• Experience in transport or logistics is an advantage, but motivated school leavers are also welcome to apply
• A good knowledge of Excel and strong digital skills
• An excellent command of Dutch, supplemented by a good command of English and a basic knowledge of French
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• A proactive, meticulous and solution-oriented approach to work
