What profile is our client located in the Passchendaele region looking for for the open vacancy of transport planner?
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or can already present several years of experience in a similar role
- You speak and write Dutch, English and French fluently
- You are computer literate and learn new programmes quickly
- You see complex situations not as a burden but as a challenge
- You can work autonomously and make your own decisions if necessary (after internal training, of course)
Profile
What profile will our client located in the Passchendaele region be looking for for the open vacancy of transport planner?
- As the person responsible for booking transports, you take care of the entire process surrounding the dispatch of goods to the customer
- Once the orders are booked, you are the one who ensures that transport can take place in a timely and efficient manner
- You carefully select the right transporter depending on destination, volume and specific customer requirements
- In doing so, you take into account various invoices such as cost, delivery time, reliability and any special requirements
- Besides coordinating the planning, you also conduct negotiations with transporters to arrive at the best solution in terms of price and service
- You switch quickly in case of unexpected changes, such as last-minute orders or delays
- You keep in close contact with both the sales department and the logistics manager
- In this role, you will be an essential link in the logistics process
