Transport planner

Function

To further strengthen our transport service, we are looking for a motivated and meticulous Transport Planner.

Your responsibilities as a Transport Planner include:

• Correct and timely processing of transport administration, including order forms and invoicing
• Drawing up the daily transport planning, with an eye for efficiency, flexibility and service
• Monitoring trips via track & trace, and timely anticipating and adjusting for deviations
• Continuously optimising planning, taking into account parameters such as cost price, lead times and customer expectations
• Maintaining smooth communication with drivers, colleagues and external partners

Profile

We are looking for a Transport Planner with the following skills and qualities:

• Preferably a bachelor's degree in an administrative or logistics field, or equivalent through experience
• Independent, proactive and stress-resistant, maintaining an overview when busy
• Taking responsibility and solution-oriented thinking
• Communicating clearly and assertively, with comfort in telephone contact. This in Dutch
• Fluent skills in Excel, or willingness to learn this quickly.
• Command of Dutch, a good knowledge of English and a basic knowledge of French.
