Transport planner

Function

Are you an experienced Transport Planner looking for a challenging position within a company with a solid reputation in customer service? As a Transport Planner at our company, you will be responsible for seamlessly organising road freight transport, coordinating activities and providing solutions to operational challenges. Specific duties include:

• Planning and managing transport orders according to customer requirements.
• Monitoring drivers' driving times and attestations.
• Recording activities and deviations.
• Handling complaints and proposing appropriate solutions.
• Providing technical support to drivers in emergency situations.
• Keeping databases such as drivers, fleet and clients up-to-date.

You will work closely with other planners in a dynamic team, where flexibility and cooperation are essential. The office is located in Ninove.

Profile

We are looking for a Transport Planner with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience. The ideal profile will possess the following qualities:

• Stress-resistant and flexible in changing working conditions.
• Creative and solution-oriented thinking.
• Handy in planning and organisation.
• Commercial and customer-oriented mindset.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Accurate and results-oriented work.
• Strong in adaptability and working independently.

Experience in logistics planning and knowledge of digital systems (TAS or similar) is a plus.
