Teamlead Pick Up fixed afternoon shift
Function
- As Teamlead Pick Up, you organise and oversee the daily collections and deliveries based on the operational planning in Ternat. You ensure that routes, timing and available resources are well aligned.
- Monitoring the progress of distribution and making swift adjustments where necessary: you take into account delays, changes to the planning and unexpected operational situations.
- Supporting couriers and planners with practical questions, clarifying priorities and ensuring that everyone has the right information to complete the day smoothly.
- Monitoring operational performance using relevant KPIs, signalling deviations and proposing improvements that strengthen the quality and punctuality of the service.
- As operational coordinator, you form the connecting link between the warehouse, drivers, planning and customer service. Clear communication prevents misunderstandings and accelerates the resolution of problems.
- Organising daily briefings, handovers and follow-ups, so that agreements are clear and continuity between the various activities is guaranteed.
- The role is performed in a fixed afternoon shift from 13:00 to 21:00 or from 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday.
Profile
- You have approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics planning, distribution, transport or a comparable operational environment. This gives you an understanding of the impact of timing, routes and daily priorities.
- A background in which you have coordinated colleagues, drivers or operational processes forms a strong basis for this role. Experience as a team leader, dispatcher or transport coordinator is relevant.
- You work accurately with schedules, systems and operational figures and can quickly distinguish which deviations require immediate action.
- You communicate clearly and calmly with various stakeholders. This skill is important because you are constantly translating information between planning, the warehouse, drivers and customer service.
- You take responsibility, remain decisive when the planning changes and actively seek workable solutions without losing sight of the bigger picture.
