Function

Are you an experienced Dispatcher Transport with a passion for logistics? Our client is offering you the chance to play a key role in their daily operations from Erpe-Mere.

As a Dispatcher, you will be the first point of contact for truck drivers and ensure efficient communication via phone, e-mail and personal contact. You will accurately pass on work instructions, prepare transport documents and optimise cost-conscious transport planning. You will also work together with colleagues from Dispatch and Customer Service to ensure the highest customer satisfaction. You will join a dynamic, family-oriented working environment where service, teamwork, respect and customer focus are key.

Profile

For this challenging position, we are looking for a driven professional with:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• A proactive, solution-oriented and hands-on mentality.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
• Knowledge of national and international road networks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with Transics and TAS software is a plus.
• Ability to manage stress, think logically and work independently.
• Strong decision-making skills and willingness to take responsibility.

Organisation

Our client is a medium-sized Belgian transport and logistics company specialising in groupage transport to and from France and the UK. Besides groupage, they also offer full trailer transport and value added warehousing.

The company has a modern, sustainable fleet of 100 trucks and 150 trailers. Their 20,000 m² warehouse is equipped with the latest technologies and suitable for the food and beverage industry, among others. Service, teamwork, respect and customer focus are key.
