Transport planner

Function

As a transport planner with administrative skills at our client Ypres region, you are the pivotal figure between logistics and administration. You ensure that everything runs as it should - efficiently, structured and without downtime.

What will you do?

• You draw up an efficient daily schedule with an eye for geographical logic
• You coordinate assignments and communicate clearly with drivers
• You monitor everything closely and make adjustments where necessary
• You take on an important role in administration
• Preparing for invoicing
• Payroll support
• Management of the weighbridge
• You work with Navision on a daily basis
• You will complete on-board computers and resolve minor technical issues
• You actively contribute to optimisations and improvement projects

Profile

Who are you?

• You have at least two years' experience in a similar position
• You have a Bachelor's or Graduate degree (preferably in transport/logistics)
• You are strong in planning, organising and keeping an overview
• You work accurately, structured and efficiently
• You speak very good Dutch and have a basic knowledge of French
• You are digitally literate and learn new systems (such as Navision) quickly
• Experience in managing people? That's a nice plus!
