Function

From the region of Roeselare you ensure that the container transport in West and East Flanders as smoothly and efficiently as possible. You maintain an overview, make adjustments where necessary and enjoy thinking about how things can be done even better.

What can you expect?

• You plan smart daily routes for the skip containers in West and East Flanders.
• You closely monitor the trips and make adjustments when the planning changes.
• You are in close contact with drivers, clients and processors to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Afterwards, you review whether the trips ran according to plan and where improvements are possible.
• You ensure that all data, such as statuses, time registrations and deviations, are correctly entered into the systems (EX/TMS).
• You process damage reports and keep the data for locations, service times and driving times up to date.
• You report incidents clearly to the supervisor.

In short: a varied role in which planning, quick thinking and continuous improvement are central!

Profile

Our client in the Roeselare region is looking for someone with initial experience in transport planning, who enjoys puzzling over routes and can switch gears quickly when the planning changes.

Do you recognise yourself in this?

• You already have initial experience as a transport planner and know the tricks of the trade.
• Route planning is right up your street and you are comfortable working with TMS or FMS systems.
• You get energy from finding the most efficient routes.
• You work accurately, maintain an overview and remain calm when things get busy.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and can express yourself professionally in French and English.
• You work confidently with on-board computers, tablets, Excel and reporting tools.
• You are flexible and work within a variable schedule between 7:00 and 18:00.
