Transport planner

Function

For the job of transport planner at our client you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You are responsible for the planning of 12 to 15 drivers who deliver to the port of Antwerp and in West and East Flanders;
• You follow up the planning and rides from A to Z and also do the administrative handling in the process;
• If possible, you will also be in charge of invoicing (not a must);
• You will form a tandem with 1 colleague who will teach you the tricks of the trade and the working environment.

Profile

For the job of transport planner at our client, you recognise yourself in the following competences:

• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch and French (contact with drivers);
• You have had your first successful experience within transport planning or have a strong interest in learning this;
• You have strong administrative skills and good computer skills;
• You are a team player and can move quickly when planning changes occur;
• You can work from 8:30am to 5pm in a 37-hour work schedule from Monday to Friday.
