Transport clerk

Function

As transport clerk You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You organise transport using external hauliers;
• You ensure that loads are fully loaded every time and combine different orders onto the same load;
• When planning, it is also important to take into account the type of transport required to send the goods;
• Goods arrive by boat every three weeks, and you then organise road transport;
• You’ll be in close contact with your other colleagues on the team – you’ll meet several times a week to discuss ongoing cases;
• You will maintain close contact with your customers, colleagues in production and colleagues at other sites;
• You enter orders into the system – if there are any stock discrepancies, please contact production;
• Contacting customers regarding the status of their order, in the event of complaints, and regarding delivery times.

Profile

Are you the transport clerk what we are looking for?

• You have experience in a similar role or hold a bachelor’s degree;
• You should be able to communicate fluently in Dutch; knowledge of other languages, such as French and English, would be an advantage;
• You have a good understanding of the various tasks you carry out and approach them logically;
• You work with attention to detail and can switch quickly between different tasks;
• You are open, sociable and hands-on;
• Temporary replacement with the option of a permanent role

Offer

In addition to a temporary (with the option of a permanent contract) full-time role as transport clerk you can count on the following:

• A gross salary of between €2,600 and €4,200, depending on experience;
