Tool Design Engineer

Function

• Plan and coordinate new tool requests.
• Coordinate with production departments on needs, priorities and feasibility.
• Liaise with and follow up external suppliers.
• Designing painting and logistics tools in a 3D CAD environment (Creo).
• Intensive collaboration with internal tooling department.
• Managing and supporting fellow tool designers within the same expertise group.
• Supervising prototypes during the start-up and implementation phase.
• Function as a liaison between engineering and production to ensure efficient collaboration.

Profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent through experience.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Creative mindset with a clear focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
• You can switch smoothly between different departments and interests.
• Fluent in Dutch; knowledge of English is a plus.
