Project Engineer Machine Building

Function

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire process from design to handover of complex technical projects. You will combine developing technical solutions with coordinating internal and external parties. From drawing up 2D and 3D drawings to visiting clients at their sites – you ensure high-quality project delivery. You monitor the schedule, budget and technical documentation, and you act as the key link between the client, suppliers, production and engineering teams.

Your range of tasks:

• Technical design, drafting and supervision of industrial installations.
• Drawing up functional specifications and project documentation.
• Managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating suppliers.
• Maintaining contact with customers and providing support during handover/installation.
• Monitoring the schedule, budget and administrative follow-up.
• Contribute to internal improvement initiatives within the department.

Profile

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field, such as industrial engineering (electromechanics), or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years’ relevant work experience in an industrial environment, mechanical engineering or project engineering.
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD software, PLC programming and ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch, English and French.
• Hands-on, structured, customer-focused and flexible.
• A team player who also works well independently.
• Driving Licence B.
