Technical Sales Engineer

Function

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will become an essential link in a close-knit team that has specialised in the engineering, sales, installation, rental and service of industrial steam and heating boilers for almost 30 years, contributing to challenging projects with a focus on technical solutions and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for:

• Preparation and technical-commercial follow-up of quotations and projects, including rental and new installations.
• Active prospecting and expansion of a commercial customer network, approaching major installers and engineering/design firms.
• Responding to public tenders for heating installations and proactively approaching new market segments.
• Contribute to the company's online visibility through social media and website management.
• Collaborate with management and other team members to develop and maintain lasting customer relationships.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have a combination of technical knowledge and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Background in electromechanics or equivalent through experience.
• 3-5 years' experience in a technical or engineering sales role, preferably in the boiler, HVAC or industrial heating sector.
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch, with a good command of English and French (German is a plus).
• Good PC skills.
• In possession of driving licence B and willingness to travel within Belgium and Luxembourg.
• Ability to work independently, with strong organisational and commercial skills.
• Proactive attitude, stress-resistant and focus on quality and customer orientation.

Our client is based in Laarne and has been around for just under 30 years. They are active in the engineering, sales, installation, rental and service of industrial steam and heating boilers in Belgium and Luxembourg. To strengthen their sales team, they are currently looking for a sales engineer to join their 4-person sales team.
