Project Engineer

Function

As a Project Engineer, you are a central player in coordinating and optimising technical projects within the manufacturing industry. You will be involved in the planning, execution and follow-up of complex price requests and the production process of customised parts. You play an important role in maintaining relationships with both customers and international suppliers and are responsible for the successful completion of projects through to the industrialisation phase.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyse customer requests and determine production steps.
• Estimate and optimise technical capabilities in collaboration with engineering, production and purchasing.
• Report regularly on project progress to both management and client.
• Advise on product improvements and innovations.
• Prepare offers in close cooperation with the commercial director.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with suppliers and partners.
• Supervise projects from price request to delivery and validation at the customer's premises.

Profile

We are looking for a driven Project Engineer with a hands-on mentality and a passion for engineering. You work accurately, are organisationally strong and are always customer-oriented.

Requirements:

• At least a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of mechanics and affinity for parts and metalworking.
• Familiarity with reading 2D and 3D drawings (e.g. pdf, dxf and step files).
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Analytical skills and a solution-oriented attitude.
• Multitask and prioritise with an eye for detail.
• Any experience with drawing packages is considered a plus.
• Willingness to visit suppliers abroad if required.

They support companies from design and engineering to production and delivery, working with a network of international partners to realise customised solutions in small to medium series. They combine engineering support, production coordination and logistics services and act as a central partner managing the entire process - from prototype to series production - for a variety of sectors. To expand the team, they are currently looking for a project engineer.
