Technical Draughtsman (Infrastructure)

Function

As Technical Draughtsman (Infrastructure) at Limburg You’ll translate technical input into clear, accurate drawings and plans that really drive projects forward. You’ll be working on challenging infrastructure and project assignments, often in a varied environment where no two weeks are exactly the same. Do you enjoy working independently on detailed tasks, but also find your feet easily within a team? Then this is the place for you.

Your role involves a combination of precision, consultation and sound practical thinking:

• you produce and develop technical drawings and plans in accordance with project requirements and guidelines;
• you process changes, revisions and as-built information accurately and in a timely manner;
• you liaise with project leaders, engineers and other stakeholders to gather the necessary technical input;
• you ensure the quality of your drawings and contribute ideas for smart, feasible solutions;
• you’ll support projects with a hands-on approach and step in where needed;
• You take into account deadlines, technical specifications and the practical realities on site.

You’ll find yourself in an environment where personal support, sharing expertise and commitment are not just empty words. You’ll be given the space to grow, show initiative and further hone your technical skills.

Profile

For this role, we’re looking for someone with a solid technical foundation, the ability to pick things up quickly and, above all, a keen desire to get stuck in. You don’t need to be an old hand, but a bachelor’s degree with a technical background is an asset, particularly if you’re already familiar with infrastructure, construction sites or related technologies.

What we’d like to see in your rucksack:

• you have a technical qualification or have gained equivalent experience;
• you are able to work accurately and in a structured manner, without losing sight of the deadline;
• you’re confident using drawing or design software, or you’ll pick it up quickly;
• you think logically, ask questions where necessary and are not afraid to take the initiative;
• You are able to work both independently and collaborate effectively with people from a range of backgrounds;
• you are willing to travel up to about an hour from your home for projects;
• you communicate clearly and prefer a no-nonsense approach;
• Experience in HVAC, site supervision or infrastructure would be a real bonus.
