Construction Project Manager

Function

As Project Manager You’ll take on a role full of action, variety and technical challenges. You’ll oversee projects from start to finish, monitor scheduling, quality and progress, and ensure that clients, colleagues and subcontractors remain well co-ordinated. You’ll work in an environment where a personal approach, expertise and a good degree of independence are key.

You’ll be the point of contact for your projects and will ensure communication lines remain short. You’ll combine structure with flexibility, as no two cases are exactly the same. You’ll work on projects with an average duration of around 9 months and liaise with various stakeholders without losing sight of the bigger picture.

• You will coordinate projects and closely monitor their day-to-day progress.
• You will be responsible for monitoring the schedule, budget, quality and safety.
• You liaise with customers, technicians, colleagues and external partners.
• You identify risks in good time and actively contribute ideas for solutions.
• You will help to ensure accurate administrative follow-up and reporting.
• You will visit projects on a regular basis and are willing to travel up to about an hour from your home.

Profile

For this position, we are looking for a Project Manager with a strong sense of responsibility.

We are looking for someone who can easily bring structure to complex situations, who communicates clearly and who thrives in a mix of independent work and teamwork. A technical background is a major asset, particularly in fields such as HVAC or site management.

• You have a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in a technical field.
• You have experience in project monitoring, site supervision or technical coordination.
• Experience in HVAC, engineering or industrial environments is a definite plus.
• You communicate clearly, professionally and pragmatically.
• You can work independently, but you also work well as part of a team.
• You are willing to travel within a radius of approximately one hour from your home.
• You enjoy variety and aren’t afraid to take on responsibility.
• You have a good command of Dutch; any additional languages are a bonus.
