Team leader Fixed afternoon shift

Function

As 'Teamlead fixed afternoon shift', you play a crucial role within our logistics operations in Asse. You are responsible for the daily management of a fixed team of employees and ensure an optimal workflow within the afternoon shift. Your focus is on coaching employees, guaranteeing quality, and creating a motivating and efficient working environment. Key tasks include:

• Coaching, supporting and developing team members to maximise their competences.
• Monitoring and analysing productivity, and ensuring optimal task distribution.
• Introducing and training new employees, agency staff and students.
• Coordinating arrivals and absences, paying attention to workload and priorities.
• Acting as liaison for interim and temporary staff, including planning and follow-up.
• Improving logistics processes, solving technical problems and preparing reports.
• Ensure compliance with rules, safety standards and procedures within the organisation.

You have a key position in ensuring both operational quality and team dynamics.

Profile

To be successful in the role of 'Teamlead fixed afternoon shift', you will have strong skills in people management, logistical thinking, and communication. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in people management, preferably in a logistics or operations environment.
• Bilingualism (Dutch and French) or willingness to undergo intensive language training.
• Excellent organisational skills and flexibility.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to work effectively with team members, management and other stakeholders.
• Talent for independent work, leadership, and decision-making.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Affinity with IT systems and stress resistance.
